Christian Costardi, a young Michelin-starred chef from Piedmont, is one half of a highly successful duo known as the Costardi Bros. Together with his brother Manuel, he runs the Christian&Manuel restaurant at the Hotel Cinzia in Vercelli (1 Michelin star), which is owned by their family. Christian, the older of the two, has long dedicated himself almost exclusively to preparing savory dishes, including their remarkable risottos, the flagship of their cuisine. It is unique and extraordinary that their restaurant's menu offers 25 different freshly made risottos without the “for two people” note. As with all successful duos, there is an extraordinary combination of complementary elements: Christian brings to the teamwork not only the great passion and love for made-in-Italy products that he shares with Manuel but also his liveliness, cheerfulness, and volcanic creativity.
