To prepare fusilli with tuna and cherry tomatoes, start with the sauce. Wash, dry, and cut the cherry tomatoes in half 1. Peel the garlic, cut it in half, and remove the core 2. Place the garlic cloves in a pan with a drizzle of oil and let them brown 3.
Add some of the basil leaves, torn by hand, and add the cherry tomatoes 4, with a pinch of salt. Cook the tomatoes until they become soft and release their juice, about 10 minutes 5. You can then remove the garlic. Meanwhile, cook the fusilli in plenty of boiling salted water, to your liking 6.
Transfer the tuna to a bowl and crumble it with a fork 7. Then chop the parsley 8 and tear the basil leaves by hand. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and transfer it to the pan with the cherry tomatoes 9.
Mix, add the tuna 10, the parsley, the basil, and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil 11. Mix well, turn off the heat, and serve 12.
